Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy: Building Public Trust and Acceptance

Vaccine hesitancy has become significant public health challenge since COVID-19. In the UK, it is seen to impede the widespread acceptance of national immunisation programmes. Linked to concerns about safety, misinformation and a lack of trust in authorities, vaccine hesitancy has been found to be more prominent in some communities than in others. It can also vary by vaccine. This talk will look at the evidence of how to address vaccine hesitancy in your day-to-day practice and the effective interventions for creating vaccine acceptance.
