Yvonne has worked in travel health, tropical Medicine, and primary care throughout her nursing career. She spent 13 years working with UK and US governments, NGO's and corporate organisations across Southern and West Africa. In the UK she has established travel clinics in both the public and private sectors and promotes vaccine confidence among healthcare professionals. She is a Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and a module lead on its postgraduate diploma. She is also an independent educator and honorary secretary of the British Global Travel Health Association.
