Jon Mitchell is Clinical Lead and Deputy Head of Service for the Improving Immunisation Uptake Team at NHS SCW. With a background spanning frontline practice, education, and safeguarding, Jon brings a unique perspective to tackling immunisation inequalities. He has previously worked as a health visiting manager, senior health visitor, and safeguarding children specialist nurse, and was a senior lecturer in nursing at a large university. Jon is passionate about reducing disparities in vaccine uptake and supporting Primary Care to deliver equitable, community-focused immunisation services.
