Helen is an experienced nurse leader with experience across a wide range of nursing practice, including working in Local Authority teams and at the Royal College of Nursing as Professional Lead for public health. Her special interest is in public health, particularly vaccination and immunisation. She holds a senior lecturer position at the University of Hertfordshire. She also works for various charities; as the Chair of the Self-Care Forum a national charity working to further the reach of self-care and adviser in nursing, for C3 Collaborating for health working to reduce the risks of non-communicable disease. Helen Co-edited Safe Vaccine Administration published in 2025 with Professor Helen Bedford.
